The right candidate will be switched on and business minded, seeking partnership in the short term. We offer flexible arrangement and training support.
We provide accounting, taxation, and advisory services with a high level of customer service to both large and smaller clients within our client base.
We invite a self-motivated accountant with advanced technical skills, the ability to problem solve and “value add” to apply for the role.
Responsibilities of the position will include the following but are not limited to:
Preparation of complex income tax return for individuals, companies, trusts, superannuation funds, and partnerships
Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly, quarterly, and annual Business Activity Statements.
Using a range of accounting software including MYOB, QuickBooks, Xero, Salesforce and HandiTax
Developing strong relationships with clients
Analyse financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategies recommendations, and determine solutions to business and financial problems
Research complex tax law and communicate findings to client and/or colleagues.
Managing bookkeeper
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Australian public practice
Recently qualified or undertaking CA or CPA
Proficient English oral and written communication skills.
Strong and proven Excel, MYOB, and Xero experience.
Motivated with an initiative to problem solve and manage client relationships
A proven ability to multitask, prioritise and time manage
High level attention to detail
