房新文总领事拜会吉朗市长孔泰利并走访“背靠背”艺术团（组图）

8月20日，房新文总领事拜会吉朗市长孔泰利。孔介绍了吉朗市整体发展情况和未来发展愿景,希进一步加强同中国江苏连云港市合作。房总领事积极评价吉朗市与连云港市友城交流合作，表示总领馆愿发挥桥梁纽带作用，推动两市友城关系及吉朗市对华交流合作取得新进展。

房总领事还走访了即将赴华参加乌镇国际艺术节的“背靠背”艺术团，同演职人员进行了友好交流。维州议员克里斯汀参加活动。

Consul General Fang Xinwen calls on the Mayor of Greater Geelong and visited the “Back to Back” Theatre

On August 20, Consul General Fang Xinwen called on Stretch Kontelj OAM, Mayor of city of greater Geelong.Kontelj introduced the overall development of Geelong and its future development vision，hoping to further strengthen cooperation with Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, China. Fang spoke highly of the cooperation and exchanges between Geelong and Lianyungang, and expressed Chinese Consulate General’s willingness to serve as a bridge and link to promote new progress in the sister city relationship between the two cities, as well as Exchange and Cooperation between Geelong and China.

Consul General Fang also visited the "Back to Back" Theatre, which is about to attend the Wuzhen Theatre Festival in China, and had friendly exchanges with the performers and staff. Christine Couzens MP attended the event.
